NMBS Exhibition 2026

The NMBS Exhibition once again proved why it remains one of the standout dates in the industry calendar, bringing merchants, suppliers, and service members together under one roof at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

More than just a busy exhibition hall, the two days felt like a real coming together of the industry full of conversation, ideas, and focusing on what’s next.

For merchants, the value of the event is clear. It’s a chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend time looking at the bigger picture exploring new products, having open conversations about pricing and supply, and strengthening the relationships that keep things moving as well as capitalising on the additional show rebates available.

Just as important is the opportunity to reconnect, with a market that continues to evolve, having that time face-to-face with suppliers makes a real difference.

There was a great atmosphere across the two days, with plenty of familiar faces and new introductions along the way. It was great to meet and catch up with so many manufacturers and members those conversations, both planned and unplanned, are often where the most value is found.

From a supplier perspective, the exhibition remains a key moment in the calendar. It’s not just about showcasing products, but about having meaningful conversations with the people who matter most to the business.

What stood out overall was the quality of engagement. With everyone in one place, conversations felt more focused, more open, and ultimately more productive. It’s that ability to bring the industry together in a single setting that makes the event so effective year after year.

For me it was the busiest I’ve seen the show since or 2019 pre-covid and from our side at Agency53, we were there for a simple reason to capture the event as it really happens. Over the exhibition, we worked closely with two of our clients, filming a mix of interviews, stand activity, and those in-between moments that often tell the most authentic story. It’s those unscripted interactions the quick conversations, the genuine reactions, the energy on the stands that bring content to life long after the exhibition doors close.

Alongside client work, we were also capturing behind-the-scenes content for ourselves. This gave us the opportunity to showcase not just the exhibition, but the process how content is created in real time, the pace of the environment, and the level of co-ordination that goes into delivering meaningful coverage across a live event.

One of the most noticeable aspects from our perspective was the willingness of people to get involved. Whether it was stepping in front of the camera, sharing their thoughts, or simply taking the time to talk, there was a real openness across the event. That kind of engagement speaks volumes about the strength of the industry and the people within it.

Overall, the NMBS Exhibition showed just how important these moments are. It’s not just about what’s on display, but about the connections, the conversations, and the sense of direction it gives everyone involved.

As always, it was great to meet and catch up with manufacturers and members. Events like this are a reminder that while the market continues to change, the value of strong relationships, shared ambition, and being present in the moment remains constant.
